BOOK DESCRIPTION

From the Green Mountains of Vermont, to the Sandy soil of Cape Cod, and from the commuter-rail corridor of Connecticut, to the rugged backwoods of Maine, THE GOLF COURSES OF NEW ENGLAND explores the greatest designs across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The purpose of this book is to discover, showcase, and celebrate the great courses of the region—public and private, old and new—by combining gorgeous photographs by Patrick Koenig, with informative and entertaining writing about each course.

You’ll find the best courses in New England, from the classics of The Country Club, Yale, Myopia Hunt, and Essex County Club, to the lesser-known gems of Hooper and Ekwanok, to the newer masterpieces of Boston Golf Club, Old Sandwich, and Shelter Harbor. Discover and explore the endless variety in the oldest corner of the United States.

Weighty

Not as in 'heavy', rather a significant and important book about New England courses. It's beautifully-photographed and well-written, and I'd recommend it to anyone hoping to play more of the region’s courses and those who want a reminder of those they've already visited.

Nicer than I even expected

I had high expectations for this book but it’s even nicer than I expected. The quality of the book is wonderful. The photos are amazing. Really great stuff. This is the third book I’ve picked up from Back Nine Press and they’re all excellent. My son loves them too. Thanks and keep up the great work.
